             LIMITLESS (Sunday Scribblings)

For years I
held the rigid
inhibitions
tucked safely inside.
Too strict, too dignified
to be released.
Last night, I
let them gently
escape.
Now, when all
I have left is
memories,
there will be one
that is different
from all the solemn others.
And I will smile.

  1. Wonderful poem! It is said that when we are old we will have far more regrets over what we didn't do than what we did. Every now and then it's important to step outside our carefully fenced in lives and run free in the meadow, I'm so glad you did! :-)
